Banquet guests were treated to a delicious dinner buffet of pasta primavera, beef tips and bruschetta chicken along with salads, sides and several delicious desserts. A cash bar was busy all evening offering craft beers, wines and mixed drinks for guests.

The evening’s program began with the introduction of our 2019 officers and event chairs that highlighted the success of the Spring Fling Weekend, The Finger Lakes Trip, The Three Creek Century and The Fall Tour to Cape May.  All of these events triggered happy memories, new friendships and positive comments from our members!

Special recognition and individual awards were given to thank our ride leaders for their commitment to our club. This year 17 ride leaders were treated to VIP passes for this banquet for taking a special interest in our club and leading and posting a minimum of 5 rides in 2019.

Bill Pickering presented John Donoughe the famous “Cape May Brick” for his years of assistance with the fall tour.  Bill Pickering was presented with a special wooden Special Recognition Cape May Brick for his years of service to make this ride a legacy for HBC.

After a review of several outstanding nominees, Harrisburg Bicycle Club officers selected Jeff Hoch and Mark Riordan recipients of the “Service before Self Award” for their work on the HBC new website. President Glenn Wareham presented the prestigious award.

Throughout the evening, guests were delighted with winning 50 door prizes that were donated by our local bicycle shops and business partners.

As an additional thank you to our many volunteers, HBC gifted each volunteer with an HBC engraved beverage glass for offering their time to make the events extra special this year.

Thank you for making the 2019 HBC Annual Banquet a success!
