Distance 18 to 20 miles

Join Karl Martz for a trail ride on the west, south and north sections of the Harrisburg Greenbelt. This ride avoids most hills and busy streets, and is primarily on the trail sections of the Greenbelt.

Meet at12:45 p.m. at the end of the Green Street extension where it joins North 6th Street in Harrisburg. This location is where Interstate 81 passes over North 6thStreet.

At 1:00m p.m. we will ride the Greenbelt south into Harrisburg and then east from Steelton to the parking lot across from the Five Senses Garden behind the Harrisburg Mall. After reaching the Garden we will turn around and ride back west to Penn Dot, and then go north up the river along the trail to our starting point. We will loop around City Island and take a short rest stop there on the first segment of the ride - bring a snack.

Helmets are required. In-ear listening devices are not permitted.
