Events - Event View

There will be no strictly C+ paced ride tomorrow. The pace could come out anywhere from 11 - 14 mph. I expect some riders, my guests, that might not be members of the HBC to do a road version of the Greenbelt. This is a ride that is on or roughly follows the Greenbelt, and we will be on it for some paved stretches, but might be as far as two miles away from it. The pace will be dependent on the group. There will be a couple of steep or long hills, not found on the Greenbelt.<br /><br /> See what follows:<br /><br />When - 9:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022<br />Where - Veteran&#39;s Memorial Park, 1955 Elmerton Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17109<br />What - 30 - 32 miles, Road version of the Harrisburg Area Greenbelt.<br /><br />To find parking turn in to Gene Cook Way, off of Elmerton Avenue, and turn into the parking lot that is the second right. There is a memorial on the left side of this parking lot. Join me if this ride suits. I guarantee this will be different from any Greenbelt ride you might have done before. We will have a tailgate afterwards merged with groups from an actual Greenbelt ride. So, bring something to share if you plan to hang out.
