I have the official Park Permit to conduct a ride of the Gettysburg Battlefield on Saturday, the 26th of September. The rain date will be the next day - Sunday. As always, we will meet in Parking Lot # 3 of the Visitors Center. Please be there between 8:30 and 8:45, we will begin the ride at 9:00 sharp.

This ride will focus on some of the important sites that we have not covered in the past. Many places we have ridden past with merely a brief comment, and on this ride, we will cover them in a bit more detail. The distance will be approximately 20 miles; but with the many frequent stops to cover subjects, it is not at all a difficult ride. We will ride back into Gettysburg for our lunch break and should finish the ride by 4 PM.

This ride is open to anyone who has an interest in the history of the battle and of course can ride a bike. As I have prepaid the $ 100 permit fee, I will ask for some small donations to cover some of that cost. If there are any questions, feel free to call me.
