TUESDAY , NOVEMBER 11th VETERANS DAY WALK AND LUNCH
A cold Veterans Day will not deter us from honoring our brave men and women.
Meet at City Island , North Parking Lot near the Stadium ( free two hour parking ) 9:45 am for a 10:00 am departure . A 4 mile flat walk to the Capitol Complex with stunning skyline and river views when we walk across the Harvey Taylor Bridge.
Dress warm and in RED ,WHITE AND BLUE , bring hydration , and invite friends , family and a Veteran .
HBC Membership is not required to participate in a HBC Non Biking Event.

A visit to the MEDAL OF HONOR MEMORIAL SOLDIERS GROVE, THE GOLD STAR FAMILIES MEMORIAL MONUMENT , MEXICAN WAR MONUMENT AND JOHN FREDERICK HAUTRAUFT MEMORIAL.

Return to City Island via the Walnut Street Iron Bridge. Drive to Yankee Doodle Restaurant 860 N. Front St. Wormleysburg, PA. Great food and a 50% discount if you are a Veteran ( our group only ).
