What is this?
9:30am Wed June 14 Englewood, 1219 Research Blvd
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/43226268
Parking – there is a port-a-potty and parking lot across from U-Gro Learning Center. There is also parking at Englewood (please park at the back of the lot), or at the former Cocoa Beanery. We'll meet in the Englewood parking lot.
We'll be riding 25 miles at a typical 'C' pace, 11-13mph, slower on hills, probably more towards the lower end if it's hot and/or windy, departing at 9:30am from Englewood, 1219 Research Blvd, Hummelstown.
West shore riders - this is a relatively flat route with no big climbs. Come see the beautiful Hershey countryside as we ride out towards the Lawn turnpike plaza and return past Founders Hall. The first and last several miles will be on the bike trail.
There will be a port-a-potty/rest stop at mile 7 and we'll stop at Founders Hall to take a short break at the Oceanus Fountain. I’ve amended the route a little from last year to avoid a bumpy road and to add in some sweeping views of wheat fields instead.
Dave Erb is leading a 42 mile ride with 2000+' elevation at 15mph departing 30 minutes earlier from the same location. We'll meet up afterwards for an optional lunch at Englewood.
