This week we will head South to Hummelstown then head West. It will be another hilly one of about 52 miles, with about 3,100&#39; of climbing. but it will be on mixed terrain with lots of tree-lined roads. Hills include Scout, Pine Hill, Grandview, Marquette Lake and more. We will start at 7:30 to get ahead of the heat and to return to Lenker Park before noon. It will be a C+ ride with a md-ride stop. Have plenty to drink and an optional snack.<br /><br />The Route - Bike Route Planner - Ride with GPS<br /><br />For those planning to join me for the Covered Bridge Classic on Sunday, 8/21, this will be a good warm up ride. Also, if you plan to do so, plan to register this week for the Stevens Fire Company start. Tentatively we plan to do the 66 mile route with an 8:00AM start. The 100 mile route can be run out of that location as well. This 66 mile route will be run at a C+ pace. This ride has plenty of rest stops, so carrying food and a lot of drink isn&#39;t necessary.<br /><br />For those planning to join me for the Covered Bridge Classic, this will be a good warm up ride.
