Meet at 9 AM at the parking lot next to Boiling Springs Tavern (1 E 1st St, Boiling Springs, PA 17007).
This will be a leisurely 6-mile hike in the Michaux State Forest and the Cumberland County corn fields. We will car pool to the Whiskey Springs Appalachian Trail Crossing for a hike back to Boiling Springs and lunch. First couple of hiking miles has a few minor ups-and-downs but the remainder is fairly easy walking.
Bring warm clothes, water, lunch, snacks, and camera for a day out in the woods.

Join me for a pleasant loop around the Mechanicsburg area. There will be a rest stop near the half-way point in Boiling Springs.

Let‘s try it again. Last week was chilly and just too windy. This will be an easy paced ride. The route goes out to Memorial Lake, encircles it and returns on a long stretch of Mountain Road. This route is rural, scenic, and rolling, The route shows 1,671‘ climb, without any long or steep climbs.

ABC North Bowling Lanes 5303 Locust Ln., Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. 9:00 AM Senior special $1.75 per game - free shoes! This is a fun activity that we do on Thursday now until March . It is a show and bowl, typically three games but you can bowl less or more! This is not a league. All are welcome. No Judgement-Come discover what a good time we can have off the saddle together!

An easy Friday Lunch Ride this week; 5 Bridges Fitness to Manada Diner, Linglestown and Jonestown Roads. We‘ll depart 5 Bridges Fitness at 11:00 and ride to lunch. After lunch, we‘ll continue to Manada Bottom and Moyer back into Linglestown and to our start point. This is an easier ride to really begin the season.

Join me for a 32 to 35 mile ride on rural roads of Eastern and NW Dauphine county, the ride will go out to Lickdale and return to the East Hanover Park via AWOL road. The forecast temperature is for 42F at 9:00AM and will only get warmer.

SPEED: 9-11 MPH
Weather on Saturday should be reasonable so we will ride. The plan is to ride two loops of approx. 10 miles each allowing people to stop after the first loop, expect to head west toward the Casino. This is a no drop ride and bathrooms are available at the start. Dress in layers for the changing temps and bring water, snack, helmet and don‘t forget your bike.

Join us to open the 2024 season of Owen‘s Sunday Sociable. Easter Sunday means we‘re at the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. Sounds like a good reason to get on a bicycle!
Meet on City Island by 7:05. Start riding at 7:15.
