Ride Description:

Name:   Fort Hunter Loop

Stats:    30 miles (1,240 ft.)

Speed:  11-13 mph

Start Location:  East Hanover Community Park

At 9:00 AM we’ll be starting at the East Hanover Community Park.  It’ll get breezier as the day goes on so we’ll start by heading west into the lesser breeze and finish heading east with the stronger breeze at our back making for a more comfortable ride.

More specifically, we’ll head west to Fort Hunter by winding our way around Linglestown.  Then, we’ll enjoy a great ride back to East Hanover via Fishing Creek Valley Road with the wind at our back.

Portable restroom facilities are available at the start and finish.  I anticipate that we’ll finish pretty close to 12 mph.  No one will be left behind.

For directions, you can enter “East Hanover Community Park” in Google Maps and it'll get you there.  It’s located at the intersection of Jonestown Road and Manada Gap Road.

The D+ group will be starting at a different location.

I'll cancel by 8:00 AM Saturday via email in the event of poor riding weather.
