Ride Description:

Name:   Memorial Lake Via Harpers Tavern & Ono

Stats:    28 mi and 1,235 ft. climb

Speed:  11-13 mph

Start Location:  East Hanover Township Park

We’ll be starting at the East Hanover Township Park which is located behind the East Hanover Township Municipal Building at 8:30 AM where bathroom facilities are available.  We’ll take a scheduled break around mile 17 at Memorial Lake with additional unscheduled breaks.  No one will be left behind.

If the ride name sounds familiar, it’s the “Cold Rainy Ride” that some of us did a few weeks ago.  Even though it wasn’t raining at the start, the bikers with more smarts either didn’t show for the ride or left when we said the ride will be rainy and cold.  So, we’ll give this a try again and keep our fingers crossed for better weather.

We’ll take mostly country roads as we head east and pass by Harpers Tavern to Ono where we’ll make a left and head to Memorial Lake.  Then, we’ll take Route 443 to Manada Bottom Road and back to East Hanover Township Park.  This is a typical ride for the area with about 1,235 ft. of climb.

For directions, you can enter “East Hanover Municipal Building” in Google Maps and it'll get you to the Park.  It is located at the intersection of Jonestown Road and Manada Gap Road.

The D+ group will be starting at a different location.

I'll cancel by 7:30 AM Saturday via email in the event of poor riding weather.
