HBC Finger Lakes Trip   June 13-16, 2019

NOTE:  Registration for the on-site campus housing is currently full.  Contact Susan Tussey at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to be put on the waiting list. Another option is to make your own off-campus lodging arrangements and you can still join the rest of the group for rides and social events. This option is on the registration form.

We are returning to the Finger Lakes area to enjoy the pleasant riding, spectacular scenery, historic points of interest, many wonderful wineries and local craft breweries, and the camaraderie of friends. We will stay in the townhouses at Hobart-William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. This is our 12th annual trip. We hope you are planning to join us!

Friday Dinner Option: Dinner at the historic Cobblestone Restaurant, which served as a tavern and coach stop in the 1700’s. It is noted for its Finger Lakes inspired Italian cuisine, and is less than 2 miles from the college. For more info about the Cobblestone, go to www.cobblestonegeneva.com We have reservations for 70 people at 6:30 p.m. for a served dinner at a truly distinctive restaurant venue for only $25 per person, including tax and gratuity. Details about the meal can be found under the registration tab.

The cost is $156.00 per person for 3 nights lodging (Thurs., Fri. and Sat.), 3 breakfasts, 3 evening socials, bed linens, a pillow and 1 towel.  Payment is due at the time of registration, no later than May 6.  It is possible to stay extra nights (Tues. or Wednesday only) at the college at a cost of $39.80 per person per night, so please let us know at the time of registration if you want either of the extra nights.  This trip did sell out last year, so don’t wait too long to register. We have 50 air conditioned rooms and 50 non AC rooms. The rooms with AC are assigned on a first-come first served basis. However, nights are normally pretty cool and the lack of AC is rarely a problem.

If you prefer, you can make your own off-campus lodging arrangements. There are several hotels and campgrounds in the area. (See Option 2 – Off-campus options for breakfasts, maps, and socials) on the Registration Form)

This year, Marilyn Chastek and Phyllis Zitzer are co-chairing the trip and Susan Tussey is the registrar.
