HBC encourages all cyclists to use their bikes for multiple purposes, including commuting to work. Bike commuting can be a pleasurable experience and can save money, and in the case of short distances, it can even save time. It is a healthy choice for riders as well as the environment. Experienced bike commuters have shared their routes with HBC and they are posted for your use. Please be aware that HBC has not verified the routes nor can HBC guarantee safety for those using the routes. However, they are tested routes that have worked well for the people using them. HBC recommends scouting your chosen route prior to riding it and/or testing it out by bike when traffic is light. Happy travelling!
