Pat Krebs, founder of the Lebanon Valley Bicycle Coalition, was awarded the first ever Bicycle Champion Award at the Bicycle South Central PA Bike Summit in Harrisburg on March 18.  Pat, along with her husband Ed, have worked tirelessly with legislators, PennDOT, municipal officials, and other bicycling advocates for many years to make the roads in our region safer for cycling. One of her most recent accomplishments was negotiating to have several through bike lanes installed at various intersections in Lebanon County. Her knowledge of transportation regulations and guidelines, government processes, and her ability to make connections between advocates and the people that can make things happen made her the unanimous choice for this important recognition of dedicated service.

Over 60 people attended the Summit and applauded loudly as Pat received the beautiful custom made wooden plaque by HBC's talented Chris Ditlow. Chris Shelly, HBC Advocacy Liaison, presented the award.
