Sat. and Sun. April 22 & 23, 2017   9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. HACC Harrisburg Campus

HBC is offering this 2-day class, which helps riders of all abilities to gain confidence and skills when riding on the roads and in traffic. You’ll learn the basics for sharing the road from a bicyclist’s and motorist’s points of view.  Participants receive detailed classroom instruction as well as on-the-bike training.  Bill Hoffman is the instructor and people who have taken his class have given Bill wonderful reviews and have gained valuable tips that help them everyday. It is also a great class for parents and ride leaders who want to learn some helpful methods for introducing cycling basics to new riders. Smart Cycling is the prerequisite for anyone planning to become a League Cycling Instructor. The cost is $30 per person plus $12 for materials, but HBC members who complete the class get a $15 rebate. Not a member? HBC membership is only $15 for an individual or $20 per family…what an incentive to join!  The registration deadline is April 5. Space is limited. The registration form can be found HERE.
